Terms and conditions for using our caravan
The lead booking person must be aged 21 and over and is responsible for signing this form and will be held responsible for any damage or loss & accepts the terms and conditions of this booking.
These terms and conditions form part of the agreement between the hirer as named on booking form and the owners. It is important that you read them prior to agreeing to them. Agreement is made by signing the booking form and returning the booking form to us either by email or post, alternatively we will accept a scanned signed copy.
Payment Term
Deposit- A non-returnable deposit of £25 to be paid within 48hrs via Bank transfer. Please use booking name as reference.
Final balance- Your balance is to be paid 6weeks before you arrive
You may pay by instalments any time up to the date shown.
If the balance is not, paid, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and withhold your deposit
Security Bond- A security bond £50 to be paid on top off your booking fee. The bond is returned to you within 7days. If our cleaners have said the caravan is ok.
We will accept payment by Cheque
We can take Bank and Credit card payments on request.
We payments by instalments at no extra cost
Cost of Hire
The total amount payable for the length of stay is outlined on the invoice
A non-refundable deposit of £25 must be paid in all circumstances within 48hrs
Dates will be held for 7 Days to allow for booking form delivery
Non-payment will result in automatic cancellation.
All payments will be confirmed within 2 days of receipt of payment.
Email confirmation will be sent to the given email address.
Dates of Hire
The length of hire as agreed by the hirer and owner. Any unauthorized use of the caravan by the hirer outside of the agreed length of stay is chargeable to the hirer and may result in forfeit of some/all the security deposit paid by the hirer.
Arrival time not before 1pm
Departure time is 10am
Late departure will mean a £30 charge being deducted from your security deposit.
Occupancy
The caravan may only be occupied by the hirer and by guests detailed listed on the booking form. The hirer is responsible for advising the owner of any changes to the booking party (no charges apply). This is a 3 bedroomed caravan and can only accommodate 6 people (including babies in cots) at any one time.
Over occupancy will result in the hirer and booking party being asked to vacate immediately.
Being a family park, we cannot accept any bookings for large single sex groups, no stags or hens. The hirer must be aged 21 and over.
Additional guests can be added to the booking at any time free of charge if this is permissioned
Cancellation
Should the caravan become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be issued to the hirer
If the hirer must cancel their booking, they must inform the owner immediately verbally and by email / letter.
In the event of the hirer cancelling the booking the following charges will apply.
Cancellations with more than 6 weeks to go before the arrival date £25 deposit will be kept all other monies will be returned
Cancellations with less than 6 weeks to go before the arrival date full fees will be kept except £50 care bond.
If we do manage to re-let the dates at the same rate a refund less £50 fee will be returned to you
If we do manage to re-let the dates but at a lower rate a refund will be given less price difference plus £50 will be returned to you.
Play Passes
The cost of the Play Passes is NOT included, and activities can be booked using the Haven booking code sent to you nearer your arrival.
Bedding
We do not supply bedding or towels. Our beds have a duvet and a pillow you will need to bring a sheet, Pillowcases cover, and a duvet cover for each bed you are going to use
Keys
Keys are held in a key safe attached to the decking. The owner will make available the key safe code by the arrival date along with the pitch number via a text message. Please do not request these earlier as we unable to do so due to changes in key safe code etc. The hirer is responsible for the safe return of keys to the key safe upon departure.
Lost keys will result in your £50 security bond being held
Behaviour
If, in the opinion of the owner (or representative) or the park manager, any member of the party, is guilty of behaviour prejudicial to the well-being of others, the owner or park manager may re-take possession of the accommodation immediately and without compensation to the hirer. Any threatening behaviour will result in the entire booking party being asked to vacate.
Utilities
All utilities are included. Charges made by Haven to have the trip switch re-set If there has been excessive use of electricity will be taken from your bond.
We do not allow the charging of electric vehicles from our van. If you are found to be charging a vehicle you will forfeit your bond and will be asked to vacate the caravan. There are three charging points next to the caravan sales area.
Liability
We do not accept liability for injury, loss or damage, suffered by any member of the booking party.
Insurance
We advise the hirer to take out holiday insurance where possible.
Wifi
Wifi is is available free of charge password is in our booklet
Smoking
All our accommodation is non-smoking, where smoking has taken place security deposits will be retained in full to cover extra cleaning. Smoking is not permitted inside the caravan, caravan doorways or on decked areas. This also includes E cigarettes and vapes
Cars
There is parking for one car at the caravan. If you have a second car, please park in the main carpark. DO Not Park it on the grass or in the parking space opposite the van as they are reserved for the caravans opposite.
Security Deposits
The Caravan Security Bond is required with the final balance, arrival details will not be released without this being paid.
Security deposits are fully refundable to the hirer 7 day’s post departure should the accommodation be left in a clean and tidy manner by the hirer and any damages reported. Our cleaning company attend each changeover following departure so are aware of the condition prior to your arrival. Damages not reported will incur charges being deducted from your security deposit. Payment will be made to accounts registered to the main booking party name and address.
Bins should be emptied, and all rooms clear from rubbish and left in a clean manner as found. Should extra cleaning/ fumigation be required following the hirers departure the security deposit will be retained as is the case for excessive damage and the whole amount invoiced plus any costs incurred for alternative accommodation for consecutive guests.
Please ensure you report any issues before you leave, we will not deal with any complaint if is reported after you leave
Pets
Due to severe allergies within our family members, we do not allow any pets of any kind in our caravan.
This unfortunately includes assistance dogs of any type
If whilst you are staying in our caravan, we find you have brought a pet with you. We will ask site security to have you removed from the caravan and no refund of fees or bond will be given. If after you have left our cleaner informs us that a pet has been in the van the full bond will be kept paying for a deep clean
